Pegasus Airlines announced through a disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) the date of its free capital increase. The company shared details regarding the procedures of the free capital increase in its statement.
According to the KAP disclosure made by the company, the board of directors’ decision for the free capital increase was made on February 28, 2024. While the company’s registered capital ceiling was 500,000,000 TL, its existing capital was at the level of 102,299,707 TL. The capital to be reached with the capital increase was determined as 500,000,000 TL.
Under the scope of the free capital increase, existing shareholders of Pegasus Airlines will be granted the right to subscribe. In this context, the entire existing capital will be increased at no cost to shareholders from internal resources. A total of 397,700,293 TL worth of subscription rights will be granted, and this amount will be covered from the “Share Premiums” account.
The start date for exercising the subscription rights is determined as May 14, 2024. The payment date is announced as May 16, 2024, and the registration date is set as May 15, 2024.
With this transaction, the issued capital within the registered capital ceiling of the company will be increased to the level of 500,000,000 TL. The capital increase for this purpose has been approved by the Capital Markets Board, and the amendment to the articles of association has been approved by the CMB.
This free capital increase transaction by Pegasus Airlines has been carried out within the framework of the company’s strategy to strengthen its capital structure and growth.
