Increased Security at Airports
In response to the attack, security measures have been intensified across Turkey, with airports placed on orange alert to prevent potential threats. As a result, security has been tightened at entry and exit points of Sabiha Gökçen and Istanbul airports.
Airport Security Measures:
- Vehicles entering the airports are being thoroughly inspected.
- Passenger identity checks are being conducted meticulously.
- Additional security personnel have been deployed.
Important Reminder for Passengers
Due to the additional security measures, Sabiha Gökçen Airport issued a warning: “Attention passengers, due to the enhanced security precautions at airports, we recommend arriving at the terminal at least three (3) hours before your flight to avoid potential delays.”
