Turkey’s leisure airline, SunExpress, is expanding its domestic flight network and will launch reciprocal direct flights between Antalya and Elazığ starting from 28 October 2025.
Under the new route, flights will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This will enable passengers from Elazığ to reach Antalya comfortably and without any stopovers.
SunExpress officials stated that the new route will bring significant benefits to the region, saying: “Establishing a direct connection between Elazığ and not only major cities but also Antalya, the tourism capital of the Mediterranean, will provide great convenience for both passengers visiting their hometowns and those planning holidays.”
Currently, SunExpress operates regular flights from Elazığ to İzmir, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hannover, and Stuttgart. With the addition of the Antalya route, Elazığ’s domestic and international connections will become even stronger.
