A suspect will stand trial on money laundering charges after £400,000 was found in a suitcase at Heathrow Airport in west London.
According to a statement from the National Crime Agency (NCA), the suspect, an Austrian citizen, was detained by Border Force officers on Wednesday while attempting to board a flight to Turkey.
Authorities reported that an additional €11,000 (approximately £9,150) was found in the suspect’s hand luggage, which was also seized. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
