In a tragic plane crash southwest of Sydney, three people lost their lives after two light aircraft collided mid-air. The incident occurred around midday local time in the Belimbla Park area, approximately 65 kilometers from Sydney’s center. Emergency teams immediately responded to reports of the planes colliding and crashing.
New South Wales (NSW) police confirmed that three men were found dead at the scene. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported that one of the planes caught fire upon impact.
The aircraft involved in the crash were identified as a Jabiru and a Cessna 182. While an investigation has been launched, authorities are still determining the cause and details of the accident.
