Dr. Mehmet Demiroğlu, the General Manager of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), issued a message on the occasion of the first flight anniversary of Turkey’s national fighter jet, KAAN.
In his statement, Dr. Demiroğlu emphasised that KAAN is not only an engineering success but also represents Turkey’s national defence strength, engineering capacity, and national will.
“I congratulate the anniversary of KAAN’s first encounter with the sky. This project holds great significance in our journey to the top. Every step we take brings us closer to this great goal, and we leave indelible marks in the sky. I thank all my colleagues who have contributed to this effort,” he stated.
The KAAN project, regarded as a significant milestone in Turkey’s defence industry, is a fifth-generation fighter jet developed with domestic and national capabilities.
