The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 107 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were neutralized overnight in multiple regions, including Moscow. Due to the drone attacks, Moscow’s airports were temporarily closed, but flight restrictions were lifted shortly after.
Russian Air Defense Systems Activated
According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense, Ukraine attempted a UAV attack on Russian territory during the night. In response, Russian air defense systems shot down 107 drones.

Temporary Closure of Moscow Airports
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) announced that flights at Moscow’s airports were temporarily halted for security reasons. After the drone attack threat had passed, flight restrictions were lifted.
Russian authorities stated that security measures have been increased to ensure the safety of airspace and that air defense systems remain actively operational against potential attacks.
