Significant changes have taken place in the management structure of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ). During the 2023 Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held today, new appointments were made to the board of directors and the general directorate.
New Appointments
- Chairman of the Board: Ömer Cihad Vardan, previously serving as the Vice Chairman of the Board at TUSAŞ, has been elected as the Chairman, replacing Rafet Bozdoğan.
- General Manager: Mehmet Demiroğlu, formerly the Deputy General Manager for Helicopters at TUSAŞ, has been appointed as the General Manager, taking over from Temel Kotil.
Details of the General Assembly Meeting
During the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held today, a new board of directors was appointed. Following this, a board meeting was held where the changes in the chairmanship and general management roles were formalized.
Role Changes
- Ömer Cihad Vardan: Now the Chairman of the Board, Vardan has moved up from his previous role as Vice Chairman, replacing Rafet Bozdoğan.
- Mehmet Demiroğlu: Newly appointed as General Manager, Demiroğlu was previously the Deputy General Manager for Helicopters at TUSAŞ, succeeding Temel Kotil in his new role.
These changes are part of TUSAŞ’s ongoing efforts to restructure and enhance its management team, aiming to continue its growth and success in the aerospace sector.
