Saudi Arabia’s next-generation premium airline, Riyadh Air, has placed a firm order for 25 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. Announced during the 2025 Paris Air Show, the agreement highlights the airline’s ambitious vision for global growth.
The signing ceremony was attended by Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Chairman of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia; Christian Scherer, CEO of Airbus Commercial Aircraft; and Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air. The total number of aircraft could increase to 50 with options included.
With this order, Riyadh Air becomes the first airline in Saudi Arabia to add the A350-1000 to its fleet. The aircraft’s extended range and high efficiency align perfectly with the airline’s goal of establishing a worldwide flight network.
Aviation Takes Flight under Vision 2030
