According to data from aviation analytics company Cirium, ITA Airways, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, and Turkish Airlines aim to adopt a competitive strategy in the transatlantic flight market with these new routes. Here are the key routes offered by these airlines:

ITA Airways: Los Angeles to Rome (LAX-FCO)

ITA Airways will operate weekly flights from Los Angeles to Rome starting in November 2024, providing direct access to Italy. Flight distance: 6,329 miles (10,188 km).

LOT Polish Airlines: Los Angeles to Warsaw (LAX-WAW)

LOT Polish Airlines is expanding in the transatlantic market with its new route from Los Angeles to Warsaw. Flight distance: 6,230 miles (10,026 km), catering to both business and leisure travelers.

Lufthansa: San Diego to Munich (SAN-MUC)

Lufthansa will operate weekly flights from San Diego to Munich. Flight distance: 6,037 miles (9,716 km). This route offers a significant opportunity for both business and leisure travelers.

Turkish Airlines: Flights to Istanbul on 5 Different Routes

Turkish Airlines will operate a total of 5 ultra-long-haul routes from Denver, Seattle, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and Los Angeles (LAX-IST) to Istanbul in November 2024. The flight distance for LAX-IST is set at 6,865 miles (11,049 km).
