The laser beam significantly impaired the pilots’ vision during flight. After the incident was noticed, Egelsbach Airport officials and a neighbor who experienced vision problems reported the situation to the police. Law enforcement traced the source of the laser to the young individual.
No Criminal Liability, But Investigation Ongoing
Due to the child’s age, they cannot be held criminally responsible. However, the police have initiated an investigation on charges of endangering air traffic. While no damage was reported, authorities urged families to remain vigilant to prevent similar occurrences.
