KEYVAN Aviation and Japan’s MTI Ltd. Launch Strategic Partnership in Aviation Data and Weather Solutions

KEYVAN Aviation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japan’s advanced technology company MTI Ltd. to develop digital solutions in aviation, marking a significant step toward its growth objectives in the Asian market. This partnership serves as a technological bridge between the two countries in the field of aviation innovation.

A New Era in the Asian Market

This collaboration with MTI marks KEYVAN Aviation’s first official partnership in Japan. By combining MTI’s advanced weather technologies with KEYVAN’s EASA-certified navigation data infrastructure, the two companies aim to deliver high-value, next-generation solutions for flight operations.

The agreement enables KEYVAN Aviation to enhance its existing products and services while strengthening its global footprint in a technology-driven market like Japan. Through this partnership, the company will be better positioned to collaborate with Japanese airline operators and explore new joint project opportunities.

Real-Time Weather Data for Safer and More Efficient Flights

Integrating MTI Ltd.’s 3D weather visualization technology with KEYVAN Aviation’s navigation database will allow for effective use of real-time and predictive meteorological data in flight planning. This system will contribute significantly to flight safety by enabling:

  • Dynamic route optimization

  • Enhanced fuel efficiency

  • Improved operational safety

  • More effective mission planning in adverse weather conditions

This solution, designed for a broad range of users from UAV operators to commercial airlines, enhances situational awareness and enables proactive mission management.

Digital Transformation in Aviation and Investment in the Future

The partnership not only addresses today’s commercial aviation needs but also offers a scalable infrastructure that can support emerging fields such as urban air mobility, advanced air cargo systems, and autonomous drone operations.

Stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as in the Middle East and other global markets, will be able to benefit from this platform for weather-focused route planning and risk analysis—bringing more data-driven and secure decision-making both before and during flights.

Expert Statements

Serkan Pusat, Head of Data Production at KEYVAN Aviation, shared the following remarks on the collaboration:
