The Karşıyaka Men’s Basketball Team, after playing a Champions League Group C game against Kolossos H Hotels on the Greek island of Rhodes, was on its way back to Izmir. However, the green-red team had to spend the night in Rhodes due to a malfunction in the plane scheduled to take them back.
Pilots Canceled Takeoff
Following the game, the Karşıyaka team made their way to Rhodes Airport, but the pilots of the private plane canceled takeoff due to a technical issue. After an inspection, the flight was officially canceled, and the Karşıyaka team waited in the terminal for a while.
Karşıyaka Team Returns to Hotel
With the flight canceled, the Karşıyaka team returned to their hotel to spend the night in Rhodes. The green-red team is expected to return to Izmir later in the day.
