JetBlue Expands Its European Routes!

JetBlue Airways continues its rapid growth in the European market. The New York-based airline has announced that it will launch daily seasonal flights from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Madrid (MAD), Spain, and Edinburgh (EDI), Scotland, starting May 22, 2025. These new routes represent a significant expansion of JetBlue’s European network.

Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s head of revenue, network, and corporate planning, emphasized the strategic importance of the Madrid and Edinburgh routes, stating, “These two exciting destinations will offer our customers unique travel experiences.” The new routes highlight JetBlue’s commitment to providing affordable and customer-focused transatlantic travel options.

New Connections to Madrid and Edinburgh

Boston-Madrid: JetBlue’s first flight to Spain will connect Boston Logan and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airports. This route will provide direct access from New England to Spain’s vibrant capital.
Boston-Edinburgh: The new flight to Scotland’s historic capital will complement the airline’s existing New York JFK-Edinburgh connection, further expanding travel options.

Both routes are now open for booking. The seasonal flights to Madrid and Edinburgh will begin on May 22, 2025, and run until October 24, 2025.

With these routes, JetBlue will further diversify its transatlantic services from Boston, which already include destinations such as Amsterdam (AMS), Dublin (DUB), London Gatwick (LGW), London Heathrow (LHR), and Paris (CDG).

The Appeal of Madrid and Edinburgh

Madrid stands out as one of Europe’s most attractive destinations, offering rich history, world-renowned museums, and vibrant nightlife. Visitors can immerse themselves in art at the Prado Museum or savor Spanish cuisine at tapas bars in the La Latina district.

Edinburgh captivates visitors with its historic Royal Mile, the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, and the world’s largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Surrounded by Scotland’s natural beauty, the city also provides unique experiences for whisky enthusiasts and nature lovers.

JetBlue continues to expand its presence in Europe while offering unforgettable travel experiences at competitive prices.
