Some journeys are unforgettable, and some names leave a mark in the sky. Izzet Levi, who has been part of the Turkish Airlines (THY) family for over 30 years and served as a cabin crew member before becoming a cabin chief, couldn’t hold back his tears on his final flight.
His signature was on the safe travels of thousands of passengers. On this flight, TK 961, with an A350 wide-body aircraft from Istanbul Airport to Ercan Airport, he said his farewell to the sky.

Turkish Airlines’ Cyprus Manager Pınar Ayvaz Arıkan made an unforgettable surprise for Izzet Levi, organizing a celebration on the plane to commemorate his final flight. As Izzet Levi blew out the candles on the cake, he was seen getting emotional and unable to hold back his tears. This moment became a cherished memory for him.

Among those who didn’t leave Izzet Levi alone on his last flight were THY’s Ercan Airport Station Chief Mustafa Taluğ, ground staff, T&T Airport Operations officials, and the cabin crew members and captains who worked alongside him on his final flight. We wish Izzet Levi good health and happiness in his future life.
