EUROCONTROL has published its European Aviation Report for the period of November 18-24, 2024. According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked as Europe’s busiest airport, with an average of 1,318 daily flights.
Europe’s Busiest Airports
- Istanbul Airport – 1,318 flights
- London Heathrow – 1,243 flights
- Amsterdam Schiphol – 1,240 flights
- Frankfurt – 1,151 flights
Joining Istanbul’s success, Turkey’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport also made the list, ranking as Europe’s 10th busiest airport with 648 daily flights.
