As one of the world’s leading global transfer hubs, İGA has undertaken extensive efforts to ensure uninterrupted flights and safe travel for passengers. Key highlights from the meeting included:
- 179 specially equipped vehicles ready for winter operations.
- 404 expert team members on duty to maintain uninterrupted service under winter conditions.
- Strict planning and management of critical substances such as de-icing materials and their storage.
Expert Snow Removal Teams
İGA’s snow removal teams receive approximately 7,000 hours of training annually, enabling efficient operations in challenging weather conditions. These specialized training programs are designed to minimize the impact of adverse weather on flight schedules.
Furthermore, the vehicle fleet has undergone regular maintenance and repair processes to ensure high-performance service throughout the winter season.
