Horrific Plane Crash in the US! Air Ambulance Crashes: 6 Dead

A tragic plane crash occurred in Philadelphia, USA. An air ambulance that took off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport crashed near a shopping mall, causing a massive fire.

Large Fire and Explosion Sounds at the Crash Site

The crash happened at 6:30 PM local time (11:30 PM GMT). The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) initially reported that two people were on board. However, according to FOX 29’s reporter citing the Philadelphia Police Department, six people were killed, including two pilots, two doctors, a patient, and a family member.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing loud explosions following the crash and seeing multiple vehicles catch fire in the area. Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene and worked tirelessly to bring the fire under control.

Statement from the Transport Minister

Transport Minister Sean Duffy confirmed media reports that six people were on board the aircraft. Following the crash, the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) launched an investigation to determine the cause. The exact reason for the crash remains unknown.

A Similar Incident in the Past

This tragic event is not the only aviation accident in the US. On 29 January, a collision between a passenger plane and a Black Hawk military helicopter near Ronald Reagan Airport remains fresh in memory. The crash, which occurred near Washington, D.C., saw both aircraft plunge into the Potomac River. There were no survivors among the 60 passengers and 4 crew members aboard the passenger plane, nor the 3 military personnel on the helicopter.
