China has once again showcased its rapid advancements in the defense industry by introducing the Jetank “swarm carrier” unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), capable of launching small drone swarms from high altitudes, dropping bombs, and carrying missiles.
Jetank’s Technical Specifications and Capabilities
Unveiled at the Zhuhai Air Show 2024, Jetank stood out with its remarkable technical features:

- Payload Capacity: 6 tons
- Wingspan: 25 meters
According to Global Times, Jetank is defined as a next-generation large UAV platform, equipped to carry a wide range of weapons and equipment similar to modern combat aircraft.

Jetank is not just a combat vehicle but is hailed as a technological marvel with revolutionary capabilities:
- Drone Swarm Deployment: Its ability to release small drone swarms from high altitudes is considered a game-changer on the battlefield.
