President of the Defense Industries Haluk Görgün has shared significant updates regarding the production process of new prototypes for the National Combat Aircraft KAAN, one of the largest projects in Turkey’s defense industry. Görgün highlighted the rapid progress in ongoing efforts at Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facilities through a social media post.

High Technology with Domestic and National Components
Underlining the critical importance of the KAAN project for Turkey’s domestic and national defense industry, Görgün stated:
“At TUSAŞ facilities, the assembly of over 2,000 domestic and national components continues at full speed. We have closely examined the production and assembly activities of the second prototype, which is scheduled for its first flight by the end of 2025.”
