According to the released report, many interesting details came to light, such as the preferred destinations of vacationers and the most expensive and cheapest tickets. Hotels along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, along with visa-free destinations, were once again popular choices this summer.
Top Hotel Destinations
In Turkey, the most popular hotel destinations were Alanya, Bodrum, Fethiye, Kemer, Çeşme, and Marmaris. For international vacations, destinations like Dubai, Baku, Batumi, Kyrenia, Sarajevo, Moscow, and Belgrade stood out.
Flight Ticket Preferences
For domestic flights, the most popular routes were round trips between Istanbul-Antalya and Istanbul-Trabzon. For international flights, Northern Cyprus, Germany, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Saudi Arabia were the top destinations for ticket sales.
Record Price for a Flight Ticket
The most expensive flight ticket of the summer season was sold for 380,777 TL on the Istanbul-Beijing route. On the other hand, the cheapest flight ticket was sold for 577.99 TL on the Konya-Istanbul route.
Bus Ticket Prices
For bus travelers, the most popular destinations were Ankara, Istanbul, Antalya, Bursa, and Adana. The cheapest bus ticket was 15 TL for the Adana-Mersin route, while the most expensive bus ticket was 3,000 TL for the Greece-Istanbul route.
