AJet and the Istanbul Children’s Foundation have signed a travel support protocol for high-achieving and exceptionally gifted students as part of the “Century of Türkiye Project”. The initiative aims to contribute to the students’ educational and cultural development.
The signing ceremony took place at Turkish Airlines’ headquarters in Yeşilköy and was attended by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, senior executives from Turkish Airlines and AJet, as well as members of the Istanbul Children’s Foundation and students.
Governor Davut Gül emphasised that the Istanbul Children’s Foundation has been focusing on disadvantaged, exceptionally talented, and highly intelligent children over the past two years, stating: “These children are our national team. We provide scholarships to students who score full marks. Now, we are also supporting their travel needs.”

Chairman of the Board of Turkish Airlines and AJet, Ahmet Bolat, announced that each selected student would receive four flight tickets and an additional 20kg luggage allowance upon their first arrival in Istanbul. He also noted that a promotional film would be shot with the students and that cultural trips would be organised annually to historical sites such as Göbeklitepe, Çanakkale, and Malazgirt.
Bolat stated that the initial phase would cover 450 students, adding, “Through this protocol, we will not only open new horizons for our children but also offer them the opportunity to connect with our country’s cultural heritage.”
During the ceremony, Bolat presented a model AJet aircraft to Governor Gül, who in return presented a certificate of appreciation to Bolat.
