The long-standing flight restrictions between Libya and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are coming to an end. The Government of National Unity of Libya announced this significant development, stating that an important step has been taken regarding air transport between the two countries.
Libyan Minister of Transport Mohamed Al-Shuhubi and UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Tawk Al-Merri met during the World Government Summit in Dubai and signed a memorandum of understanding to lift the flight restrictions.
