Due to heavy snowfall in Istanbul, flight cancellations are occurring at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. The airport authority, HEAŞ, has issued an updated statement regarding cancellations on February 20-21-22, 2025.
Updated Flight Cancellation Rates
According to the announcement by HEAŞ:
- February 20, 2025: In addition to the previously announced 10% flight cancellations, an additional 15% of the remaining flights will be canceled.
- February 21, 2025: An additional 15% of the remaining flights will be canceled, in addition to the previously announced 15% cancellation.
- February 22, 2025: A total of 30% of flights will be canceled.
