Adverse weather conditions expected in Istanbul are affecting air traffic. At Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, 10% of flights will be canceled on Thursday, February 20, while 15% will be canceled on Friday, February 21.
In a statement by the Airport Authority HEAŞ, it was announced that the cancellations were made in accordance with the decision of the Meteorological Emergency Committee. Authorities emphasized that passengers should check their airline’s website or call centers for up-to-date flight information.
As weather conditions may cause further cancellations and delays, passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
