
First Report from NTSB on Helicopter and Plane Collision Within 30 Days
Following extensive search and rescue operations in the Potomac River, the remains of all passengers who died in the accident were located. Authorities mentioned that the forensic institution is continuing the identification process, with only one individual’s identity still to be determined.
The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) announced that detailed examinations of the wreckage of the plane and helicopter, which was submerged in the Potomac River after the crash, are ongoing. A preliminary investigation report, containing initial findings, is expected to be shared with the public within 30 days.
