India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation has shared a critical update regarding the aircraft accident that occurred on 12 June. The ministry announced that data from the black boxes recovered after the crash has been safely extracted and that the memory modules of the devices were successfully accessed.
As part of the ongoing technical investigation, expert teams conducted detailed examinations of the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR), successfully retrieving crucial information related to the moment of the crash. Ministry officials emphasized that the data extraction process has been completed and that the recovered information is of great importance in shedding light on the cause of the accident.
Officials also stated that the investigation initiated after the crash is being carried out with full transparency, and the final report will be released following a thorough analysis of the retrieved data.
