F-50 Wreck Found in Mountainous Region! Two Pilots Killed!

An F-50 fighter jet belonging to the Philippine Air Force went missing during a tactical night operation in Bukidnon province. The operation, carried out on Tuesday, reportedly involved clashes between ground troops and members of the Maoist armed group, the New People’s Army (NPA).

Military officials announced on Wednesday that the wreckage of the missing aircraft had been located on Mount Kalatungan. Aerial reconnaissance teams discovered two bodies at the crash site, and reports from the Manila Times confirmed that both pilots on board had lost their lives.

Lieutenant Colonel Salvacion Evangelista, spokesperson for the Eastern Mindanao Command, stated that the aircraft was located at 11:00 am local time. Details regarding the cause of the crash have not yet been disclosed, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The long-standing conflict between Philippine security forces and Maoist insurgents has continued to heighten tensions across the country. Further updates on the incident are expected to be released to the public in the coming days.
