Istanbul Airport earned the title of Europe’s busiest airport with an average of 1,482 daily flights between April 21–27, 2025. The European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) published its European Aviation Report, confirming once again that Istanbul leads the continent in air traffic.
