The 2024 Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of HEAŞ (Airport Management and Aviation Industries Inc.), the operator of Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, was held at the airport’s General Directorate building. During the meeting, the company’s activities and financial results were reviewed, and significant changes were made to the executive management.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. İhsan Kaya, Deputy President of the Presidency of Defence Industries. The General Assembly began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem. Among the attendees were HEAŞ Vice Chairman of the Board Ertaç Koca, Board Members Fatih Çakmak, Çetin Orhan, Belda Şenel Parlak, HEAŞ General Manager Faruk Kacır, General Manager of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation Bilal Topçu, and Head of the Trustee Committee of the Turkish Aeronautical Association Kemal Yurtnaç.
Ertaç Koca Elected as New Chairman of the Board
As a result of the General Assembly, HEAŞ’s new executive board was determined. Ertaç Koca was elected Chairman of the Board, while Fatih Çakmak was appointed Vice Chairman. Tufan Atiktürk, Çetin Orhan, and Belda Şenel Parlak will serve as Board Members for the new term.
With its new leadership, HEAŞ aims to advance more decisively toward its operational and strategic goals at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.
