An ER-AH training aircraft made a hard landing and overturned in Çal district of Denizli. The pilot was rescued with injuries, and details of the incident were shared with the public.
Training Aircraft Makes Hard Landing
In the İsabey neighborhood of Çal district, Denizli, an ER-AH training aircraft made a hard landing in an empty field around 12:00 PM. The aircraft overturned during the landing and got stuck in the mud. Gendarmerie, firefighting, and medical teams quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured pilot to the hospital.
Pilot’s Condition Is Stable
Pilot Şükrü Yiğit Devebacak, who survived the crash with injuries, was taken to Çal State Hospital after first aid was administered. It was reported that the pilot is not in critical condition.

Successful Test Flights Earlier in the Day
The training aircraft had reportedly completed three successful test flights earlier in the morning. However, it was stated that approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes after takeoff, the plane had to make an emergency landing due to a technical problem.
First Images From the Scene
Hasan Ekici, the village head of the İsabey neighborhood and one of the first to arrive at the crash site, made the following statement:
“A shepherd informed us about the crash after witnessing the aircraft going down. We arrived at the site with gendarmerie teams. The plane was overturned, but the pilot’s condition seemed stable. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.”

Expert Teams Begin Investigation
Following the incident, expert teams from Çardak Airport started a technical investigation of the training aircraft. It was noted that the aircraft had completed four flights during the day, including two test flights.
Investigation Ongoing
Authorities have launched a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash. A technical malfunction is being considered as a potential cause.
