UAE-based Emirates Airline (EK) has showcased a special Boeing 777 design to celebrate its long-standing partnership with Real Madrid. The exterior of the aircraft features striking images of Real Madrid stars like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric, Jude Bellingham, Lucas Vazquez, and Federico Valverde.
First Flight: Madrid to Jeddah
This uniquely designed aircraft made its debut landing in Madrid (MAD) on January 7, 2025, carrying Real Madrid’s first team to Jeddah (JED) for the Spanish Super Cup. Emirates and Real Madrid have been partners since 2011, a sponsorship extended until 2026, making it the longest-running jersey sponsorship in La Liga history.
Promoting the Real Madrid Brand Globally
The special Boeing 777 will operate on several international routes, including Athens, Vienna, Miami, Seattle, and Kuwait. This eye-catching design brings the Real Madrid brand to audiences worldwide.
A History of Partnership with Real Madrid
Emirates has repeatedly highlighted its collaboration with Real Madrid. In January 2023, it transported the team from Madrid to Riyadh aboard a special A380 featuring images of stars such as Nacho Fernández, Dani Carvajal, Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Vinicius Jr.
Innovations in the Emirates Fleet
The airline has upgraded 36 aircraft in its fleet with Premium Economy cabins and expanded its capabilities with next-generation A350 aircraft. Emirates operates flights to various destinations, including Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The Real Madrid-themed Boeing 777 is also expected to serve prestigious routes such as London Heathrow, New York, and Melbourne.
