Emirates Airlines is looking for talented professionals to fill the Aircraft Technician position to provide high-quality aircraft maintenance and repair services, enhancing safety and operational efficiency. In this role, the technician will work in accordance with established procedures and regulations to maintain Emirates and third-party aircraft and components.

Job Description

The Aircraft Technician will work as part of a team, under the guidance of an assigned Licensed Aircraft Engineer, in their respective trade disciplines. The role includes routine maintenance tasks, aircraft/engine/component servicing, and repairs. Technicians will also be responsible for observing safety procedures, such as fluid replenishment, aircraft fuel replenishment, and aircraft system charging.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance on aircraft, engines, and components according to manufacturer procedures, carry out repairs, and adhere to relevant safety protocols.
  • Component Replacement and Maintenance Activities: Complete component replacements and other maintenance tasks per the instructions of the direct supervisor. Work with documents like the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC).
  • Pre-flight Checks and Troubleshooting: Assist the Licensed Aircraft Engineers before departure and upon arrival, troubleshooting issues and performing modifications as directed by the assigned engineers.
  • Safety Culture and Cleanliness: Minimize safety deficiencies in working areas and ensure cleanliness standards are met. Conduct regular checks and cleaning to prevent the use of foreign materials.
  • Airport Safety and Permits: Ensure compliance with airport safety regulations and driving permit requirements, be familiar with and adhere to airport maneuvering area regulations.
  • Performance Development and Training: Work closely with supervisors to agree on development plans, review strengths and weaknesses, and ensure that maintenance standards are upheld.
  • Operational Efficiency: Maximize ground time, complete tasks quickly to avoid operational delays, report aircraft/component statuses, and improve maintenance timelines.
