Electra’s EL9 Ultra Short aircraft combines blown-lift technology with hybrid-electric propulsion, enabling it to take off and land within just 150 feet. This innovative design enhances operational efficiency even in areas with little to no aviation infrastructure. The aircraft meets stringent noise regulations in urban airports, opening up new possibilities for both cargo and passenger transport. Additionally, it provides critical logistical support to military forces, offering the capability to operate from unprepared surfaces.

The Innovative Technology Behind the Electra EL9
The Electra EL9 boasts advanced aerodynamics and hybrid-electric power, making it one of the most efficient solutions in the industry. Operating within existing aviation infrastructure, it offers improved accessibility, lower noise levels, cost savings, and environmental sustainability. The EL9 has a range of up to 1,100 nautical miles, accommodating nine passengers or 3,000 pounds of cargo. Moreover, its in-flight battery recharging system eliminates the need for ground-based charging, increasing operational flexibility.

New Customers and Expanding Partnerships
Electra.aero has secured a diverse customer base for the EL9. Newly announced customers include Akansel (Turkey), Dieng and Co Engineering (Senegal), the Flow Aero partnership (USA/Turkey), Caverton Helicopters (Nigeria), Copenhagen Helicopter and Copenhagen Air Taxi (Denmark), 5 Star Helicopter Tours (USA), Global Vectra Helicorp (India), and Helicidade Heilporto (Brazil). These operators are drawn to the EL9 for its reduced noise, high efficiency, low emissions, and safety features.
Electra’s Global Customer Network
Private aviation platforms such as Bristow Group, JetSetGo, Blade India (India), Flapper (Brazil), flyv (Germany), and LYGG (Finland), as well as US regional airlines JSX and Surf Air, are also integrating the EL9 into their operations. Electra continues to expand its customer base, leveraging the EL9 to access new markets and enhance operational efficiency.
