Turkish Airlines (THY) has launched direct flights from Istanbul to Ohrid, one of Europe’s oldest settlements and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The inauguration of this new route was announced in a special ceremony attended by THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi and industry representatives.
Ohrid, now part of Turkish Airlines’ expanding flight network, is a remarkable tourist destination known for its historical and natural beauty. Often referred to as the “Pearl of the Balkans,” the city captivates thousands of tourists each year with its historic monasteries, stone-paved streets, turquoise-colored lake, and rich cultural heritage.
