Yesterday morning (May 9, Thursday), a Boeing 737-800 aircraft operated by Corendon Airlines, performing flight CAI1031 from Cologne to Alanya/Gazipaşa, experienced tire bursts upon landing at Alanya Gazipaşa Airport. However, the aircraft safely came to a stop on the runway, and passengers along with the flight crew disembarked without any injuries or health issues.

The aircraft was safely towed to a parking position, where it underwent detailed inspections by technical teams. Officials from Alanya Gazipaşa Airport and representatives from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation also conducted inspections on the runway and the aircraft. As a result, the runway was reopened to air traffic last night, and Corendon Airlines’ operations at Alanya Gazipaşa continue as scheduled.

The latest information has been provided by Corendon Airlines Headquarters.
