Corendon Airlines, one of Turkey’s and Europe’s leading airline brands, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025 by introducing a new service. In cooperation with the tour operator Royal Avis, the airline has launched Umrah journeys featuring direct flights from eight different airports in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands to Jeddah and Medina.
Starting in October 2025, the charter flights operate from Düsseldorf, Hannover, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Nuremberg in Germany; Salzburg and Vienna in Austria; and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The operation is expected to serve a total of 10,000 passengers.
The first flight successfully departed from Cologne/Bonn Airport to Jeddah on Monday, 13 October 2025. The approximately six-hour flights offer Muslim passengers in Europe a fast and comfortable Umrah experience, delivered with Corendon Airlines’ focus on safety, comfort, and guest satisfaction.
Corendon Airlines Deputy General Manager of Operations, Atılay Batu, commented on the new flight series:
