International airline Corendon Airlines has strengthened the leisure travel expertise of the Board of Airline Representatives in Germany (BARIG) by joining the association, which represents the interests of airlines operating in Germany.
BARIG Chairman and Executive Director Michael Hoppe stated, “We are pleased to welcome Corendon Airlines, a new European leisure airline, to our community. Together with Corendon, we will work to address the challenges in the German aviation market. International exchange and cooperation are particularly valuable during this period.”
The German Market and Strategic Membership
Christian Hein, Corendon Airlines’ Director of Sales and Marketing, said, “Germany is the most important tourism market for Corendon Airlines. The aviation industry is currently in a transitional phase, with future routes being mapped out. Our BARIG membership is a key part of our sustainable success strategy in Germany.”

Corendon Airlines Operations
Corendon Airlines operates flights from approximately 20 German airports to popular holiday destinations in Turkey, Greece, Spain, Egypt, and Morocco. The airline is headquartered in Antalya and also operates flights from countries such as Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Poland. Corendon Airlines is part of the multinational European Corendon Group, with a fleet of 31 Boeing 737-800 and 737-800 MAX aircraft. The airline, set to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025, continues to pursue its goal of sustainable growth.
