A Moscow–Baku flight operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) caused serious inconvenience to passengers due to significant delays. The wait at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport extended beyond a full day.
According to Oxu.Az, the flight was reportedly delayed six times over the course of the day. The prolonged wait sparked frustration among the passengers.
AZAL’s Statement: “Closure of Moscow Airspace Was the Cause”
Responding to questions regarding the delays, AZAL’s Press Service stated that the disruption was due to the closure of Moscow’s airspace. Company representatives noted that the situation was beyond their control and that the flight had to be repeatedly postponed for safety reasons.
Uncertainty Continues at the Airport
While the wait continues at Vnukovo Airport, no clear information has yet been provided regarding a new departure time. Passengers are demanding a resolution to their grievances caused by the uncertainty throughout the day.
