İGA Istanbul Airport, one of the leading brands in the global aviation industry, has announced a significant appointment for its umbrella organization, İGA Holding A.Ş. Atalay Gümrah, a seasoned executive with an extensive background at Eczacıbaşı Group, will assume the role of CEO starting January 15, 2025.
Who Is Atalay Gümrah?
Atalay Gümrah is a prominent business leader who has held numerous critical roles throughout his career. A graduate of Galatasaray High School, he completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Boğaziçi University.
Gümrah began his professional journey in 1992 at Eczacıbaşı Group, where he held various roles, including:
- Key positions in group companies like Ekom, Vitra UK, and EBM Jsc Russia.
- Senior management roles in İntema and other Eczacıbaşı Building Products Group companies.
- General Manager and CEO of Eczacıbaşı Holding A.Ş. (2017–2024).
Following his extensive career at Eczacıbaşı, Gümrah has been entrusted with the leadership of İGA Holding A.Ş.

Fluent in multiple languages, including English, Italian, and French, Gümrah is known for his innovative approach to leadership and broad international experience. He is married and has two children.

Since its umbrella organization, İGA Holding A.Ş., was established in March 2024, İGA Istanbul Airport has aimed to bolster its global presence further.
