The 10th Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, one of the world’s most prestigious corporate golf tournaments, took place on 28 September 2025 at Glyfada Golf Club in Athens. Athens champion Charilaos Papadopoulos claimed first place with 44 points, earning the right to represent the city at the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Finals.
The Glyfada event was the 104th of 130 tournaments in this year’s Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup. Winners will compete in the Grand Final at Gloria Golf Club in Turkey and stay at Gloria Serenity Resort. Second and third place went to Orestis Tziotis and Dimitris Tagalis, respectively. The Nearest-to-the-Pin competition was won by Michalis Dalakouras for men and Rachele-Maria Gallaty for women, while the Gross prize was awarded to Euan Gill with 72 points.
Gökhan Çetin, Turkish Airlines’ General Manager in Athens, thanked all guests for participating, congratulated champion Charilaos Papadopoulos, and wished him success in Turkey. All finalists will travel to Turkey with Turkish Airlines Business Class privileges.
Since 2013, the TAWGC has hosted over 130 tournaments across 83 countries with more than 10,000 players. Thanks to Turkish Airlines’ events, Antalya has become a distinguished international destination for golf enthusiasts. The 2025 tournament was held with the support of Gloria Hotels & Resorts.
