The strategic promotional partnership project signed between the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) and Jet2 at the WTM London Tourism Fair has already begun to yield positive results. Jet2, one of the world’s leading tour operators, has shared the data from its joint promotional efforts with Alanya.
8 Million People Reached, Sales Up by 3%
At the ITB Berlin Fair, Jet2 representatives met with the Alanya delegation to assess the results of their marketing activities. Joe Taylor, Jet2’s Airport and Tourism Organisations Manager, announced that, according to statistics for January–February 2025, sales for Alanya had increased by 3%, with the promotional campaign reaching 8 million people.
Exclusive Agreement with Alanya in Türkiye
Despite receiving promotional requests from various cities across Türkiye, Joe Taylor emphasised that Jet2 had chosen to sign a marketing agreement solely with Alanya. This collaboration not only enhances Alanya’s appeal as a tourist destination but also strengthens its position in the UK market.
Increased Flight Capacity
In response to high demand, Jet2 is expanding its flight capacity to Antalya in 2025. By adding London Luton and Bournemouth airports to its flight network, the airline will operate 87 flights per week to Antalya.
