Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport kicked off the 2025 summer season with a strong start. TUI Netherlands launched direct flights to Alanya with its first flight from Amsterdam, announcing that it will operate two weekly round-trip flights throughout the summer. With Corendon Dutch’s flights included, the number of direct flights on the Amsterdam–Gazipaşa route has increased to four per week.
In addition to TUI Netherlands’ flights on Mondays and Thursdays, Corendon Dutch will also operate flights to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This ensures uninterrupted air access from Amsterdam to Alanya four days a week.
Ali Özgür Pehlivan, Director of TAV Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, highlighted the airport’s expanding flight network and said:
“We continue to strengthen our partnerships to increase the number of airlines and destinations we serve. We are working to offer our passengers more travel options. With the addition of new routes, we aim to further boost the tourism potential of our region.”
Abdurrahman Açıkalın, Advisor to the Mayor, noted that international promotional efforts coordinated by Alanya Municipality are bearing fruit. He stated:
“Under the leadership of our Mayor Mr. Osman Tarık Özçelik, we actively participated in numerous fairs during the winter together with ALTAV, ALTİD, and TAV. As a result, we secured direct flights from six countries within just two months. What started with Denmark has now extended to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Slovakia, and most recently, the Netherlands. The first flight from Amsterdam brought 184 passengers to Alanya. Alanya is now becoming one of the top air travel destinations not only in Turkey but also across Europe.”
Serving over 1 million passengers in 2024, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport plans to offer direct flights to 21 destinations in 14 countries with 14 different airlines during the 2025 summer season. In the first six months of 2025 alone, the airport has already served over 385,000 passengers.
