AJet to Strengthen Its Fleet with 10 New Aircraft by the End of the Year
AJet’s fifth factory-fresh aircraft, the Boeing 737-8 MAX registered as TC-OHE, landed in Istanbul on 17 October. The company will continue to expand its young fleet by adding 10 new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft by the end of the year.
Turkey’s youngest airline, AJet, continues to strengthen its fleet with new-generation aircraft. The company’s fifth factory-fresh aircraft, a Boeing 737-8 MAX registered as TC-OHE, successfully landed at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport on 17 October after a 13-hour flight from the United States.
It was reported that the new aircraft will begin operating on scheduled flights after the completion of cabin equipment installation and seat assembly processes.
Young Fleet Expansion Progressing Rapidly
Deliveries initiated under AJet’s young fleet expansion plan are progressing rapidly this year.
The process, which began with the inclusion of aircraft registered as TC-OHA, TC-OHB, TC-OHC, and TC-OHD into the fleet, has reached a new stage with the arrival of TC-OHE in Istanbul.
According to sources, another Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft registered as TC-OHF is expected to arrive in Istanbul on 19 October.
AJet aims to include approximately 10 factory-fresh Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft in its fleet by the end of the year, thereby increasing its operational capacity and fuel efficiency.
