Turkey’s young and dynamic airline, AJet, is preparing to celebrate its first anniversary following its transformation process. Despite less than a year having passed since the completion of this transformation on 31st March 2024, AJet has stood out with its strong performance in both domestic and international routes.
20 Million Passengers, 14 New Routes
In 2024, AJet successfully carried over 20 million passengers, including 14 million on domestic routes and 6 million on international routes. Additionally, the airline significantly expanded its network by launching 14 new routes throughout the year.
Kerem Sarp: “Our Target for 2025 is 23 Million Passengers”
AJet’s General Manager, Kerem Sarp, reflected on the company’s first year, highlighting the significant momentum achieved in operational performance through an expanding fleet and route network. Sarp noted that AJet had already reached 5 million passengers in the first two months of 2025 and announced the company’s goal to carry over 23 million passengers by the end of the year—15 million on domestic routes and 8 million on international routes.
85% On-Time Departure Performance
Kerem Sarp also emphasised AJet’s outstanding punctuality, which sets it apart in the industry. Citing Eurocontrol data, he stated that the airline had exceeded regional averages in performance. In the first quarter of 2025, AJet achieved an on-time departure rate of 85% and an on-time arrival rate of 86%.
