AJet has launched a new air route that will further strengthen ties between Turkey and the Turkic Republics. The inaugural flight on the Nakhchivan-Ganja route, departing from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, was successfully carried out on June 3 with special ceremonies.

Inaugural Flight Warmly Welcomed
The first flight took off from Istanbul and landed first in Nakhchivan, then in Ganja. Welcoming ceremonies were held at both destinations, attended by AJet executives, consulate representatives, and local airport authorities. The events highlighted the brotherhood between the two nations and emphasised the route’s potential to significantly boost both tourism and trade.

Regular Flight Schedule Announced
The schedule for the new route is as follows:

Tuesdays: Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen) → Nakhchivan → Ganja

Saturdays: Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen) → Ganja → Nakhchivan
AJet officials stated that the new route will make travel between Azerbaijan and Turkey easier, faster, and more affordable.
