AJet, the rising brand of the Turkish aviation sector, has announced that it is seeking experienced engineers to join its Technical Directorate in order to strengthen its technical operations.
General Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria to apply:
Hold a bachelor’s degree from the departments of Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation and Space Engineering, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering,
Have at least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas within the aviation sector: maintenance, engineering, continuing airworthiness, maintenance planning, aircraft delivery/redelivery, or insurance and warranty processes,
Strong organisational, planning, and follow-up skills,
Proficiency in English,
Ability to adapt to shift/flexible working hours when required,
Proficiency in MS Office programmes,
No travel restrictions.
Job Description
The selected engineers will be responsible for ensuring the safe, orderly, and internationally compliant operation of AJet’s fleet by undertaking the following responsibilities:
Carrying out engineering services related to aircraft, engines, systems, and components,
Evaluating airworthiness directives (AD) and managing implementation processes,
Preparing, updating, and conducting effectiveness analyses of maintenance programmes,
Managing and auditing technical agreements with maintenance organisations,
Conducting technical evaluations of aircraft to join the fleet and managing delivery/redelivery processes,
Following up on warranty and insurance claims.
Application Requirements
Must be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey,
Born on or after 01.01.1985,
Male candidates must have completed military service or have at least a one-year deferment,
No criminal record,
Must not have previously left Turkish Airlines Inc. (THY A.O.) or its affiliates through termination,
For graduates of foreign universities, must hold a YÖK equivalency certificate.
