Iraqi Transport Minister Razzaq al-Saadawi announced that air traffic at all airports in Iraq has been temporarily halted. The decision, explained in a statement from the media office of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport, was taken to ensure the safety of civil aviation due to rising tensions in the region. Similarly, Iran also announced the suspension of air traffic on all flight routes.
