New Air Serbia Routes to Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir

Air Serbia, the national flag carrier of Serbia, is strengthening air connectivity between the two countries this summer by offering flights from Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir to Belgrade, Niš, and Kraljevo.

Air Serbia, Serbia’s flag carrier airline, has launched the summer season by expanding its flight network between Türkiye and Serbia. The airline now operates regular flights from Istanbul Airport, Ankara Esenboğa Airport, and Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to the Serbian cities of Belgrade, Niš, and Kraljevo.

These routes, which provide connections to destinations across Europe, as well as the United States and China, have contributed significantly to the increase in passenger traffic between Türkiye and Serbia in recent years.

Türkiye–Serbia Flight Details:

Istanbul Airport – Belgrade:
Flights available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays at 04:30, and daily at 15:40.

Ankara Esenboğa – Belgrade:
Round-trip flights operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 04:10.

Izmir Adnan Menderes – Belgrade:
Flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 15:25.

Belgrade – Niš – Kraljevo Routes:
Niš flights operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 16:40,
Kraljevo flights on the same days at 15:30.

Air Serbia Expands Its Fleet

Air Serbia has also accelerated efforts to modernise its fleet, which currently consists of 29 aircraft:

The airline continues the procurement and leasing process for new Airbus A320 and Embraer E‑195 models, aiming to gradually replace its current A319s with these newer aircraft.

Flight Network to 82 Destinations

Air Serbia’s main hub is Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, with Niš and Kraljevo also serving as key domestic bases. Operating flights to 82 destinations in 33 countries, the airline has a strong presence across Europe, serving major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Athens, Vienna, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona, and Budapest.

In addition to its European network, Air Serbia offers transatlantic flights to New York and Chicago, and Asian routes to major Chinese cities such as Shanghai and Guangzhou.
