Air France Offers 24-Month Training Program for Pilot Candidates

Air France is accepting applications for its student pilot program, designed to train the next generation of pilots and launch their careers. Candidates of all ages and levels of flight experience are encouraged to apply.

Rigorous Selection Process and Training Program

Selected candidates will benefit from a comprehensive 24-month training program provided by partner schools and fully funded by Air France. At the end of the training, they will start their careers as First Officers. This opportunity will allow candidates to operate the following aircraft:

  • Air France’s Airbus A220 and A320 aircraft
  • Transavia’s Boeing B737 and Airbus A320neo aircraft

Advantages of Being an Air France Pilot

Becoming an Air France pilot means joining an airline with over 90 years of history. Air France pilots perform their duties with the highest level of flight safety, technical expertise, and environmentally responsible piloting, with a constant focus on customer satisfaction.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Gender Equality

Air France is committed to promoting an environment of diversity, inclusion, and gender equality. The company actively encourages women to pursue technical careers. The previous batch of pilot candidates included 10% women (with 9% of the company’s overall pilots being women).

Application Process and Informational Seminars

The recruitment campaign is currently open and will continue until July 15, 2024. For more information about the program’s eligibility criteria and selection process, visit the Air France Careers Website.

In partnership with the Fédération Française Aéronautique (FFA) and the Fédération Française de Vol en Planeur (FFVP), Air France will hold webinars to give pilot candidates more information about the program:

  • Thursday, June 6, at 18:00 (FFA)
  • Thursday, June 13, at 18:00 (FFVP)
